A trained Odissi dancer, Lekhinee had the idea of using dance to promote the brand. Her thinking paid off. During lockdown alone, the site claims to have made a 300 percent growth compared to last year.



Meena Bindra: This founder of BIBA was just a housewife when she started BIBA, an apparel brand. It specialized in designing beautiful kurtas and salwar-kameez sets. She took a loan of Rs 8000 to start the brand. Last checked the same brand is now valued at 600 crores!


Ekta Kapoor: One of the most successful women entrepreneurs of India, Ekta started working at an early age. She was just 17! Today, of course, she is considered the Queen of the Television industry and is one of the most successful women in India

 


Upasana Taku: She is the founder and CEO of MobiKwik. One of India’s leading e-payment platforms. A successful entrepreneur, Upasana has won many awards and acknowledgments to her credit such as Young Business Woman Award’ at the CNBC Young Turks Conclave and the Best Woman Entrepreneur Award by Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry, India.
